Blocksize operates on Tellor, a decentralized oracle where data is submitted on-chain by staked reporters and secured by a dispute system. Blocksize stakes, reports data, and helps secure the network — bringing real-time crypto market data on-chain.
Tellor is a decentralized oracle that brings off-chain data on-chain through a network of staked reporters. Anyone who stakes the network's token can submit data; instead of checking every value upfront, Tellor uses an optimistic model — submitted data is assumed valid but can be challenged during a dispute window, and reporters who submit bad data lose their stake. This makes manipulation expensive and keeps the network permissionless.
Most oracles validate data through upfront consensus. Tellor takes a different approach: data is submitted by staked reporters and held accountable after the fact, through disputes. A reporter who submits an inaccurate value can be challenged and slashed — so accuracy is enforced by economic stake rather than by a gatekeeper. It's a crypto-native, permissionless way to keep data honest.
Blocksize is a validator on the Tellor Network. We stake the network's token and submit real-time crypto market data on-chain, backing it with our own stake. The data we report is drawn from the same aggregated market feed we deliver to our customers off-chain.
